As Covestro’s international lead agency, we are providing the communication for the world-leading supplier of high-tech polymers. The new image campaign stages the stories of Covestro innovations and sustainable solutions for various industries.
Center of communication is the positioning Pushing Boundaries, developed by us in cooperation with the customer in international workshops. Pushing Boundaries becomes the recurring hashtag of the campaign, boiling down the company’s key attitude in one powerful statement. Where others ask “Why?”, Covestro responds “Why not?” – this way of thinking enables employees of the company to push the boundaries of what’s possible in order to make the world a brighter place. The results are thrilling stories, presented in social Media via #PushingBoundaries.
One example is the company’s contribution to the “Solar Impulse” project: a nonstop flight around the world in a solar-powered plane, partly enabled by Covestro raw materials.
Kick-off for communication was the “K” in October 2016 – the world’s most important trade fair in the plastics and rubber industry. Since then, the campaign is rolled out internationally, e.g. via ad placements, out-of-home formats, social media and several topic-based landing pages.
One of the highlights is an image film, that stages the corporate mindset #PushingBoundaries in an exceptional imagery. Using unseen and fascinating animations, the 70 seconds long film „Shaping a Brighter World“ brings the world of colours and products of Covestro to life.
