The premium fashion brand Strellson is launching its new campaign on a specially chosen date: 5 September, Freddie Mercury's 70th birthday. And not without reason, for at its centre is a music video of the world-famous Queen song “Don’t Stop Me Now” in an exclusive cover version by star producer MNEK. The cool, self-assured man-about-town in Strellson attire forges a path through a fantasy world, letting nothing stand in his way. The message: Strellson. Make yourself unstoppable. The responsable agency is Serviceplan Campaign X that established also the new claim.

Men who are always up for something new. The innovative outfits, high-end quality and uncompromising style have one aim: to inspire men to follow their own path, come what may. Strellson. Make yourself unstoppable.

The campaign “Make Yourself Unstoppable”

As a brand, Strellson too is forging a new path. For the first time, the company is opting for a purely digital media strategy, and employing an unusual campaign concept for the fashion sector – a music video. It tells the story of a man in Strellson attire negotiating his way through a fantasy world with charming self-assurance and unwavering determination. Musically, it is accompanied by a modern cover version of the world-famous Queen song “Don’t Stop Me Now”. The protagonist's striking moustache is a hommage to Freddie Mercury – as is the date of the campaign launch (5 September), which would have been the artist's 70th birthday.

The concept was devised by the advertising agency Serviceplan Campaign X with the managing directors Christina Antes (consulting) and Hans-Peter Sporer (creation) and their team; direction was by the duo Wolf & Lamm. The film communicates Strellson's desire to inspire men through its authentic fashions to go with their own intuition and not let anything stand in their way. High-end premium suits and a contemporary style strike a chord in this new-generation man, lending him support and composure in every situation.

The cover version of the Queen song “Don’t Stop Me Now” was created by star producer MNEK. The English singer/songwriter, who has previously worked with such big names as Beyoncé, Rudimental and Kylie Minogue, has composed a new take on the old classic with the same unstoppable drive as the text itself.

The story of the director duo Wolf & Lamm (Joffrey Jans and Kai Kurve) began in 2011 somewhat unconventionally, but no less successfully for that. The duo produced music videos for national and international artists such as Fink, Lexy & K-Paul and Parov Stelar, along with numerous fashion and advertising videos. The Berliners use original narrative mechanisms and a fresh, sexy look to create artistic films in tune with the zeitgeist.
