As of 1 May, Kerstin Niederauer-Kopf is the new General Manager of Facit Research. The 40-year-old succeeds Barbara Evans, who will become Managing Director of the Mediaplus Group. She was previously Head of the Advertising and Market Research Department at ARD-Werbung Sales & Services GmbH (AS&S).
Munich, 4 May 2017 — Since 1 May, Kerstin Niederauer-Kopf has been managing operations at the market research company Facit Research, part of the Serviceplan Group, where she will be responsible for the 15-strong market research and consultancy team, for strategic development and for the communication with the company's national and international customers.
In her new role, the 40-year-old heads up one of four research departments in the House of Research in Munich and will be supporting clients from the automotive, fashion, FMCG, luxury goods and consumer electronics sectors, amongst others. Kerstin Niederauer-Kopf brings the benefit of many years of experience in advertising and in market and media research to the management of Facit Research. Most recently she was employed by ARD-Werbung Sales & Services as Head of Advertising and Market Research. A humanities and business management graduate, she has gained thorough knowledge of the challenges presented by the media and advertising sector through her work over many years running operations at ARD/AS&S and also as deputy spokesperson for the Technical Commission and as a member of the Research Council at the Television Research Working Group (Forschungsbeirats der Arbeitsgemeinschaft Fernsehforschung, AGF) and of the Working Committee of the Media Analysis Consortium (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Mediaanalyse, agma).
