Kai-Uwe Jürgens is joining Plan.Net Group's Business Intelligence unit as a new Managing Director for Consulting. The 42-year-old comes with almost 20 years of professional experience in media, content and sales. His last role was as DACH Country Manager at the Retail Media Group.
Munich, 7 November 2018 — As the new Managing Director for Consulting, Kai-Uwe Jürgens will drive the marketing of solutions developed by Plan.Net Business Intelligence (BI) and use his many years of expertise in Marketing Performance Management to offer advice to internal and external clients. The agency, which specialises in KI-based marketing management, is using its "Core" data science platform, developed in-house, to increase the efficiency of its clients' communications and sales activity. Jürgens reports to Marcus Ambrus, Managing Director and Partner at Plan.Net BI.
"The use of KI in marketing for multimedia budget planning and automated and tailored implementation is more relevant than ever for company decision-makers," comments Marcus Ambrus, Managing Director at Plan.Net BI. "Kai-Uwe Jürgens is an asset to our team, as a Managing Director who, on the one hand, brings his many years of media expertise and on the other, can support us in continuing to establish Plan.Net BI as the go-to contact in the automated marketing performance management solutions market.
Before taking up his role at Plan.Net, Jürgens was DACH Country Manager at the Retail Media Group in Berlin. Prior to that, he was CEO of PeJay GmbH, Munich, a company founded by presenter Joko Winterscheidt and Peter Olsson which specialised in brand partnerships, in-house productions and celebrity management. The management graduate was also employed as Director of Ad Sales at Discovery Networks Deutschland, Munich and was responsible for national marketing of the DMAX, TLC and Eurosport broadcasters in the German-speaking region. He also spent more than three years as Senior Account Director at ProSiebenSat.1 marketing company SevenOne Media, Düsseldorf.
"We want to put the impact and ROI of communication at the heart of our consulting. Over the past three years, Plan.Net BI has developed a culture that facilitates the perfect balance of communications strategies and tactics that are client-oriented but also directed towards company statistics," explains Kai-Uwe Jürgens, Managing Director and Consultant at Plan.Net Business Intelligence. "I am delighted to be part of an interdisciplinary team which combines consulting, applied KI and media skills. This is something that consultancies with a purely theoretical perspective would find difficult without practical media experience."
