Bettina Prange, the former Head of HR of Serviceplan in Hamburg, was appointed Chief Operations Officer on 1 September 2018. In her new position she will have a number of responsibilities, including budget management for the House of Communication in Hamburg, integration of the service areas and advising the management board. Bettina Prange has been working for the Serviceplan Group since 2011.
Hamburg, 12 September 2018 — Bettina Prange (41), previously Head of Human Resources at Serviceplan in Hamburg, was appointed Chief Operations Officer on 1 September 2018. She is now the seventh woman to join the top management level at the Hamburg site. In addition to her current responsibilities, she will be responsible for budget management for the House of Communication in Hamburg, resource planning, consulting the management board, and the integration and supervision of all site service areas and their projects.
"With just under 350 employees, our Hamburg location has reached a size where it is particularly important to constantly optimise decision-making processes and process flows. The decisive factor in our success is the active integration between the individual agencies and service areas in particular. My goal is for us to act as a communication centre with our brands Serviceplan, Mediaplus and Plan.Net – in a manner which is beneficial for our employees, our customers and the group," explains Bettina Prange.
After working for Deseo Strategy and Scholz & Friends Identify, Prange served as Draftfcb's client service director for clients such as SC Johnson, Lindt, Audi and Coca-Cola. With a degree in industrial engineering, she initially worked at Serviceplan as a consultant for Serviceplan Campaign Hamburg and oversaw 50 employees and clients such as Trilux, Osram, DZ Bank, NUK, Unicef and BMW Germany. Most recently, she worked within the Serviceplan Group as Head of HR for the Hamburg and Bremen sites. In this capacity, she independently sought to strengthen the Human Resources department at the House of Communication Hamburg, increasing the number of employees from 180 to 350.
