The agency, that specialises in the data-based integration of content and media, is developing its managerial structure with the appointment of Verena Letzner to its management board. Letzner will be responsible in her new role for further establishing the Marketing Governance service area as a business segment, in addition to continuing to oversee Plan.Net NEO's core and new business.

August 2019 — A strong new addition has been made to the Plan.Net NEO management team: Verena Letzner, who has already been at Plan.Net since 2015, will be reinforcing the leadership team as a complement to Managing Directors Dr. Jan Woratschek and Thorsten Stork. The 37-year-old's primary responsibility in her new role will be to establish the Marketing Governance consulting service, which she herself initiated. Marketing Governance as a service area centres on advising international corporations on the set-up, structure, and processes of their digital marketing organisation. This is achieved using tools such as audits and process analyses, as well as by drafting guidelines and blueprints for negotiating areas of potential friction between central organisations and decentralised structures. Letzner will also continue to be jointly responsible for operational and new business.

Verena Letzner has been with Plan.Net Group since 2015: initially as Team Leader for Social Media Account Management, then as Director of Operations Content Management, and most recently since October 2017 as Managing Director at Plan.Net NEO. The graduate in cultural and business studies began her career at Hubert Burda Media, where she started in cross-media marketing in 2010 before rising to the position of Senior Manager of Social Media & eCommerce by 2014. Letzner was responsible in this role for establishing and setting up social media communications for brands that included Playboy, InStyle, Mein schöner Garten, and Bunte.de.
